Nephio R6 is now available, bringing continued progress toward open, cloud native automation for telecom and enterprise networks. This release reinforces Nephio’s core principles of intent-driven automation, configuration-as-data, and distributed actuation, with a focus on stability, security, and platform improvements.
Release highlights include:
- Platform enhancements with Porch v1.5.6, including critical fixes and performance improvements
- Security updates with Golang upgrades across all projects
- O-RAN O2 IMS integration via a new REST Provision API
- Documentation improvements and migration to a dedicated Porch site
Looking ahead, R7 will focus on modularization and easier onboarding for new use cases.
